Apron capacity ledger · as of August 2026
Bali private jet arrivals: the aircraft is the easy part. The apron, the permit and the slot are not.
Bali has one airport for business aviation — I Gusti Ngurah Rai, DPS / WADD — with a dedicated general-aviation apron of roughly 14 stands and no secondary business-aviation airfield on the island. A DGCA landing permit takes 3–5 business days, slots are coordinated with PPR, and enquiry to wheels-down realistically runs 5–7 business days off-peak.

Folio 01 — the two-ledger bill
Most DPS quotes arrive as one lump sum. Here the layers are separated, so the markup is visible.
The left column is published and non-negotiable: airport charges computed by formula. The right column is quoted and negotiable: what the market asks on top. Merging the two is how a USD 31 landing charge becomes a four-figure line item without anyone lying.

Folio 02 — the wheels-down backplan
DPS notice & charge reckoner: work backwards from the arrival date.
Three questions decide whether a flight department briefs the principal or stalls: am I still inside the planning window, what will the airport charge by published schedule, and what sits on top commercially. Nothing here is a quote — statutory lines are arithmetic, commercial lines are bands, and USD and IDR are never merged because no honest FX rate is published on this page.

Folio 03 — the fourteen-stand apron plan
Fourteen stands, fourteen desks. Every service we run, indexed on the pavement it happens on.
DPS publishes a dedicated general-aviation apron of roughly 14 aircraft. This plan borrows that number as an index of what we coordinate — pick the stand that matches your problem.
Schematic. DPS publishes a dedicated GA apron of roughly 14 aircraft; this plan indexes our services and is not a live occupancy feed. As of August 2026.
Folio 04 — notice periods
Slot, PPR and permit clocks, by travel window.
Coordination-experience planning guidance, not official rule. The airport coordinator decides each request on actual capacity.
Swipe the table sideways on a small screen.
| Travel window | Request by | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| Feb–Jun, Sep–Oct · weekdays | 5–7 business days out | First-choice arrival times usually achievable. |
| Weekends & Indonesian long weekends | 10–14 days out | Morning arrival windows tighten first. |
| Jul–Aug Peak | 21–30 days out | Expect offered alternatives ±2–4 hours. |
| 20 Dec–5 Jan Peak | 30–45 days out | Overnight parking often unavailable; plan repositioning. |
| Event surges | As soon as dates firm | Capacity moves faster than published guidance. |
- DGCA landing permit 3–5 business days, extensive documentation
- Flight Security Clearance filed separately through the official SMS-FSC digital system — never automatic
- KKOP coordination case-by-case through official written channels
- Enquiry to wheels-down 5–7 business days
- Passenger manifest T-48 hours
- Helicopter coordination T-72 hours
- Resort arrival handling 48–72 hours in peak
Figures as of August 2026. Planning guidance from coordination experience, not official rule.
Folio 05 — turn time and repositioning
Bali has no secondary business-aviation airfield. Every jet that sleeps here competes for the same concrete.
Turn time by class
Swipe the table sideways on a small screen.
| Class | Domestic | International |
|---|---|---|
| Light — Phenom 300, Citation XLS | 40–60 min | 60–90 min |
| Midsize / super-mid — Challenger 350, Praetor 600 | 60–90 min | 90–120 min |
| Heavy — Gulfstream G650, Global 7500 | 90–120 min | 2–3 hours |
| Bizliner — BBJ, ACJ319 | 2–3 hours | 3–4 hours |
Add 30 minutes to any row when international passengers swap. A 20-minute overrun can become a two-hour delay in peak season: the handler must request a revised slot, and GA waits behind the scheduled commercial banks.
Reposition options
| Airfield | Ferry |
|---|---|
| Lombok LOP / WADL | ~25–30 min |
| Surabaya Juanda SUB / WARR | ~55–60 min |
| Jakarta Halim HLP / WIHH | ~1 h 45 |
Each is subject to its own PPR and slot approvals, plus ferry fuel and a second DPS landing charge on return.

Capacity context: a dedicated GA apron of roughly 14 stands; the GA terminal operated by ExecuJet since November 2022; the airport operated by state-owned Angkasa Pura I.
Figures as of August 2026.
Folio 06 — inbound routes and the onward chain
Inbound rows carry permit load, not flight-time romance.
Swipe the table sideways on a small screen.
| Inbound | Block time | Permit load | Page |
|---|---|---|---|
| Singapore WSSS | ~2 h 40 | Indonesian landing permit only on the standard track; no third-country overflight. | Singapore to Bali |
| Jakarta CGK / HLP | ~1 h 45–2 h | Domestic sector; slot and PPR still apply at DPS. | Jakarta to Bali |
| Dubai OMDB | ~9 h, heavy jet | UAE, Oman, India, Sri Lanka or Bay of Bengal, Malaysia — Indian overflight is the pacing item. | International services |
| Sydney YSSY | ~6 h 15 | Timor-Leste overflight only if the filed track clips its FIR. | Overflight permits |
A standalone Indonesian overflight permit applies when transiting without landing.

What we are, what we are not, and who issues what.
What we are
- An independent coordination desk operated by BD Juara Holding Group, working DPS / WADD arrivals and departures.
- The single point of contact across handler, permits, slots, CIQ, crew and the onward chain.
- A desk that publishes its arithmetic: statutory charges computed, commercial figures labelled as bands.
What we are not
- Not an airline and not an AOC holder. We do not operate aircraft.
- Not a charter broker in the sense of reselling flight hours as our own product.
- No affiliation with Angkasa Pura I, immigration, customs, TNI AU or any government institution.
- Not an authority on approvals: no page here can promise a slot, a permit or an overnight stand.
Who issues what
- DGCA issues landing and overflight permits.
- Licensed handlers perform handling on the ramp.
- ExecuJet has operated the DPS GA terminal since November 2022.
- The airport coordinator decides slots on actual capacity; Angkasa Pura I operates the airport.

Six from the hundred-question hub
How far ahead should I request a DPS slot?
Off-peak weekdays 5–7 business days, weekends 10–14 days, Jul–Aug 21–30 days and 20 Dec–5 Jan 30–45 days — planning guidance from coordination experience, not an official rule, as of August 2026. Slots & PPR →
How long does an Indonesian landing permit take?
DGCA landing permits run 3–5 business days with extensive documentation, and Flight Security Clearance is filed separately through the official SMS-FSC system — it is never automatic. Landing permits →
What will the airport itself charge me to land?
International landing is USD 3.64 per tonne MTOW up to 40 t, so a Phenom 300 at 8.4 t is roughly USD 31 and a G650 at 45.2 t roughly USD 163, plus a USD 37 movement charge and IDR 200,000 passenger service charge per international passenger. Full price ledger →
Can my aircraft stay overnight at DPS?
Often yes off-peak, frequently declined over Jul–Aug and 20 Dec–5 Jan, because the GA apron is roughly 14 stands and Bali has no secondary business-aviation airfield — cost a reposition to Lombok, Surabaya or Halim before you commit. Long-term parking →
How fast is CIQ for a private arrival?
With a manifest pre-filed at T-48 hours, clearance typically compresses to 10–20 minutes; cash or bearer instruments of IDR 100 million and above must be declared electronically. CIQ fast-track →
Do you sell the flight itself?
No. We coordinate handling, permits, slots, CIQ and the onward chain; licensed operators fly the aircraft and DGCA issues the permits. Where we introduce a charter operator, we say so plainly. About the desk →
